Personal profile

Sara joined DMU as a full time Senior Law Lecturer in 2018.

Sara is the module leader for the undergraduate module Inter Professional Legal Skills and also teaches on the undergraduate modules Law and Medicine and Equity and Trusts. At postgraduate level Sara teaches Property Law and Administration of Estates on the SQE LLM. 

Sara is the lead for the Collaborative Online International Learning project between DMU and Nova South Eastern University in Florida. 

Sara has been a module leader for and taught on a number of subjects on the Legal Practice Course at DMU as well as teaching the Legal Practice Course at other higher education institutions, namely University West of England and Derby University.

Sara is actively involved in the design and writing of courses and modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Sara was part of the team to design the bespoke DMU Trinidadian Legal Practice Course and taught this course at the DMU campus and spent time teaching in Trinidad and Tobago.

Sara acts as a dissertation supervisor to students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. 

Sara is an external examiner for The University of Law in relation to a number of postgraduate subjects.
