Personal profile

Tonii Leach is a Research Assistant within the Ethics Support team of the Human Brain Project, based at DMU. She is also currently undertaking her PhD within the Centre for Computing and Social Responsibility (CCSR), which focuses on fictional narratives and the discourse on discrimination in global AI policies. This draws together her research interests in science fiction, ethics, and policy and governance of emerging technology.

Tonii also holds a Research Assistant position within the Global AI Narratives project, based in the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence at the University of Cambridge, where her work involves researching prevalent narratives about AI technology around the world.
