Join us at lunchtime to learn a bit of salsa for DMU Pride. The lesson will be taught from the aspect of a complete beginner but is open to everyone. We will be learning the Cuban style of salsa, which is a social Latin American dance. Salsa is one of the easiest dances to learn and you will be taught the basic beginner steps, so no previous dancing experience is required. Once you have been taught the basics, we will move on to the social element where we will dance with each other to learn the dance in motion. So, grab a comfy pair of shoes, be it trainers or heels and come and join us.
The main class will be 12 – 1pm with an extra 30 minutes more, from 1-1.30pm for those who want to carry on practising.
