Colour in Tech Events


Our partners are supporting a number of events for students to develop their skills, learn about new products from big brands such as Google and get information on tech career pathways.

The Aspire Program is designed for top-performing graduates across a broad range of roles. Whatever your skill set, we have positions available that will challenge and develop your current capabilities.

We are hosting an event with their lead recruiter for this project on the 27th September. This event is guaranteed to boost your profile with Microsoft - we fully recommend joining as these roles are filled on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Build for Everything Google Series

The Google Students Virtual Series is specially curated for students in EMEA (Europe, the Middle East & Africa). Students can learn about the products being developed at Google, student opportunities, how to submit a great application and much more.

This event series will be held from Thursday 20 September 2021 to Wednesday 3 November 2021.  Events include CV workshop and myth busting, how to crack the coding interview and Lightning tech talks: product inclusion.

Black Tech Fest

Black Tech Fest is a movement that takes the form of a virtual three-day festival to celebrate Black culture, showcase innovation and create pathways for underrepresented talent. More details will be released soon.

Tech Career Readiness

The Colorintech 4-week program is designed to provide awareness to several tech career pathways whilst developing soft and hard skills. There are three cohorts for their Autumn Wave:

  1. Technical - Internships Cohort (for 1st/2nd year students looking for internship opportunities) 
  2. Technical - Graduates Cohort (for final year students or recent alumni looking for graduate roles/schemes)
  3. Non-technical 

To apply, you must be enrolled or recent graduate at a UK university, achieved or predicted 2:1 or above and authorised to work in the UK.

Applications are open all year round. Students who apply will automatically be considered for the next wave. They have 3 waves a year, Autumn (November), Spring (March) and Summer (June).  to apply.
